Our safety framework is not just a manual; it is integrated into every movement on site. We operate under ISO 45001:2018 certification and utilize the Damstra/Vault HSEQ software system to record, monitor, and audit every task in real-time.
We satisfy the most rigorous commercial due diligence, holding SiteWise Gold, Tōtika, and Impac PREQUAL registrations. This allows us to operate on high-risk, high-security sites like the Christchurch International Airport and major government infrastructure projects.

We satisfy the most rigorous commercial due diligence. Our operations are certified to ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). We also hold SiteWise Gold, Tōtika, and Impac PREQUAL registrations, and are pre-qualified by NZTA for physical works.
We use Damstra’s end-to-end HSEQ software system (formerly VAULT) to record, review, monitor, and audit health and safety across the organisation. Our management systems are verified by internal audits, formal on-site audits, and informal job observations. At the project level, we maintain live risk registers and conduct daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks.
We conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all projects. For high-risk activities like deep excavations, confined space entry, lifting, or working near overhead powerlines, we develop specific Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) or Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). We apply a strict hierarchy of hazard controls, prioritising the elimination or isolation of risks before relying on PPE.
All employees are appropriately trained and supervised in their designated roles, and hold the relevant licences and certifications, which are reviewed annually. Our team members carry Site Safe accreditation, and we reinforce ongoing education through regular toolbox talks, inductions, and on-the-job mentoring.
Yes. We maintain a strict pre-qualification process to ensure the capability and compatibility of all subcontractors before they are engaged. Subcontractors are required to work to PSE’s safety systems and processes as an absolute minimum standard, which is actively managed through our Damstra software and daily site inductions.
